This link above is a community shelter plan from Worcester county in 1978. The only shelter listed in Auburn was actually at Holy Cross College in Worcester. This is a late plan and likely did not include all Fallout Shelters in town, but I am unaware of any others the town had.
Thank you for your interest in the site. There are no current buildings I am aware of in Cape Cod with shelter signs. Although I haven’t been to every town in the region, the larger ones that had shelters no longer have signs on them.
I am attaching a link to a Community Shelter Plan for Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket counties from 1978. These lists came out after the initial National Shelter Survey in 1961, and in many cases some of the buildings included were not originally marked as shelters and may never have been.

Hi Nikolai, I’m not sure which buildings in Haverhill may have once been shelters but I’m including a link to a 1979 Community Shelter Plan for Essex County that includes Haverhill. Please note these surveys were done far later than the original ones in the early 1960’s and may not include every former shelter building.

Hi Jason, As of the past 15 years Springfield got rid of the majority of their shelter signs, per the emergency management director.
